To those who competed and survived the Mead Big Cat Battle – Congratulations! It sounded like a little rough start getting the round-robin brackets up and running and they added more mats in a third area to add to the running around once things were a go. Almost everyone had a full 6-man bracket so lots of mat time for those 17 Legacy wrestlers who wrestled 78 total matches, with 15 medals earned, including 10 first place.

Down south in sunny Arizona, Maxx Watson was competing in the RMN Terminator Tournament on Saturday. He double bracketed at 102lbs and came away with 2nd in the 13U division and the big 1st place belt in 15U along with 15U Outstanding Wrestler.
Legacy was in the house in Pocatello at the ICCU Dome for the Idaho State High School Championships where former club wrestlers Tyler and Zak Wood, Daniel and Jackson Holman and Jason Symons were helping the SHS Bulldogs earn 5th place in the 5A Division. Jackson came away with 2nd at 215lbs, Zak earned 3rd at 120lbs, and Tyler ended up 4th at 98lbs. Daniel and Jason gained valuable experience to help the Bulldogs do even better next year.
Congratulations again to everyone on a great weekend of weekend – these kids definitely earned it!
